Tim, you messed up, that’s Appleton, not Williston.
That drawing of the pencil still impresses me the most.

I think the pencil actually looks better on the computer than on paper, since I fiddled with the levels a bit in Photoshop. I wish I had had a 2B or 4B pencil on hand (to make the shadows darker) instead of a mechanical pencil with HB lead, but it still came out OK.
