What’s a good image?

Well for those who don’t know me, this is what I look like:

Hmm, this isn’t working. Well, so you people know what I was attempting:

I’ve recently gotten really into music by vocal synthesizers, which are a more recent technology. By sampling the voices of different artists, singers, and individuals, we’ve gotten pretty damn close to producing believable sounds and voice programs for people.

There is one company and brand that is notable, but I’ll save that for another post.

In this case, I was actually thinking about a Japanese conglomerate of artists and musicians from all over the world known as Genki Rockets. Only two of the individuals involved are actually properly known now. By sampling at least 5 different female vocalists, they’ve created the voice for the fictional singer, Lumi. What’s more, all the graphics and images of Lumi that exist are completely CG. Her performance at a concert recently in Japan was done purely with holograms, which if you youtube it, makes you realize just how far our technology has gone in simulating realism.

So this volvox-like group has about three singles out, and I was attempting to post the second one.
I will warn, there is a bit of Engrish considering the Japanese origins, but it’s not bad. I guess it’s the closest that there is to something akin to J-Pop but with UNDERSTANDABLE, ENGLISH LYRICS.

And thus I present to you Lumi’s second single, Breeze!
